Ingredients

  • 2 packages natural HUMMUS, ~300g
  • [The ubiquitous Betty Bossi Hummus 'Karma Nature' from Coop works well]

  • Sprinkle of SMOKED PAPRIKA, SWEET PAPRIKA or SPICY PAPRIKA (optional)
  • Drizzle of EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped FLAT PARSLEY

  • Unseasoned CRACKERS

Serving Tips

  • - For a party food course when other food is provided, plan 15-20g of hummus per person
  • - If the main food is nibbles like hummus, cheeses and crackers, plan 30g per person of hummus
  • - Prep and garnish: Spoon hummus from its plastic container into a broad, preferably decorative bowl. Smooth the hummus surface with the spoon; create a shallow dip in the center and a shallow trench along the outside; see photo. Sprinkle paprika around the outside edge, drizzle olive oil in the middle and top with chopped parsley.
